A slightly inane idea, but since Eidolons (afaikt) can choose how they manifest, and as I have a habit of getting involved in little scuffles with various immortals.

What colour do you bleed?

I bleed regular red blood (funny that), at least until the Merchant decides it’d be a laugh give me a Blessing of acid blood.

When Aestar is in her black form, her 'blood' is thin watery blue ick which is probably really, really quite unpleasant and sticky.

When she's in her silver form, her 'blood' is green slime. It doesn't really flow so much as gradually solidify into a crazy paving style network of cracks and fissures around each wound, which spread to encompass her whole body as she dies and disappears.

For the other forms, well you haven't seen their blood. You'll just have to find and kill me, won't you? Wink

I'm sure there's something vaguely pathological about seriously considering the colour and consistency of your character's bodily fluids, but hey! It's fun! And oh-so tempting to create the magical super fun happy rainbow limited edition version of Aestar, with pink candy floss hair and multicoloured fizzy pop blood.

I figure Glic bleeds reeally watery lime green coloured blood or if in his full gorgon mode doesn't bleed at all the wounds just create huge rents in his body where you can see inside into his completley fluidless body, unless you pierce the venom sacs on his neck which ooze a yellowy/green gunk

It really depends. At one point Dex bled something akin to chocolate syrup, but after he was quickly subdued and eaten by a group who realised that if he disappears shortly after death he would be none fattening he's gone back to a golden goop concoction.

Hmm. On a similar topic, I'm semi-reliably informed that if you eat some food while on the mortal plane, it doesn't dissolve back into the Maelstrom when you do. Technically if you eat as an eidolon, you should be leaving little piles of chewed-up food everywhere you dissolve.

My current plan is to carry a small container of cold vegetable soup with which to coat my coins and lammies the next time I get the smackdown. I am usually lootable, but I don't have to make it easy or pleasant for my looters Smile

Primus dosn't bleed since he dosn't manifest with bodily fluids... though occasionally his wounds fire forth sweets (depending upon phys-rep availability)

On another semi-realated point, I checked with PD about manifesting food and drink out of the maelstrom. While we can manifest a small amount of food (an amount we can carry, not enough to feed colonies with), it is completely tasteless.

I would assume this would also apply to blood and other body parts. (otherwise it's an obvious loophole)

When Auriel's in a hurry he's entirely undifferentiated and doesn't bleed because he forgot to make blood. When he has to stay around for a while, or when he's likely to be jobbed, he makes a body full of distressingly living internal organs and bright red arterial blood so that when people execute him they are feeling the same distaste he does when he executes mortals.

Why do I know this? I defined it in uptime for some bizarre reason.

Veritas has been inactive for a long period of time so he's not all that great at assuming physical forms and he often forgets bits like blood or genitals (Thank you Rich) but he does his best to look like mortals so tends towards red blood, but not very much of it.

Riddle doesn't bleed, but if you cut him in half, he has the same sigils running through him that appear on his face (and tail), somewhat like Seaside Rock.
