Something else entirely.... StrangehavenI thought I'd mention that I'm involved in running an LRP game - Strangehaven - up at Murton Park, near York on the 12th to 14th of October. The game is set on a mysterious island off the coast of Atlantis.Kit and period-wise, very similar to Maelstrom as Ascendancy (Strangehaven's parent game) is a Flintlock and Fantasy game. Strangehaven itself has a dark-ages/mediaveal/High Fantasy (ish) feel to it as it is part of Faery. the Strangehaven game details are here http://strange-haven.blogspot.com and the main rules and background for the gameworld are here http://www.ascendancylrp.co.uk There are still places available for players, and since I know that there are some York based players on this board, I thought I'd mention it. |

There may be some events at Murton Park in January, February and March as part of the Ascendancy/Strangehaven game, we're still looking at locations for next year. Log onto the Ascendancy website for the probable dates for next year's campaign.
Still places available for the up and coming event, however (for those of you not at EOS) - Spaces are (I believe) £30 for new players. |

Sorry Dave, I am also off to EOS but i think im going to need a larp fix before march so will probably come along next year
