I'm regularly checking this place.
I think it's in the post downtime era between events where people are possibly slightly frothed out. It's about the time the threads on pagga/rule7 get really whinny and full of inane bitching and nitpicking. Frankly I'm glad Purgatory hasn't descended into that. This heat up in the week before an event people, after all the DT complaints and niggles have been dealt with people tend to get all excited again and remember why they love maelstrom, then after the event they spend two weeks frothing about how amazing the last event was... and then Downtime happens... And so the great cycle of life continues. |

I check this board regularly too, I'm just bubbling over as the skills have been updated in my 'strom (not that most people here know.....) so hopefully.... downtime... might be.... up soooon! |

Heresy is when you go against the Churches, blasphemy is when you go against the Gods. Plenty of heretical loyal eidolons. (Plenty of blasphemous churches.) |

Indeed, you're right, I of all people should have spotted the difference. I would need to be let back within the church to even be able to commit heresy again...
Technically it's probably best classed as Apostasy.
Apostasy Heresy Blasphemy Profanity Sacrilege Desecration Defilement (am I missing any?) I wonder how many of the above I can manage to perform next event. So many sins, so little time. I think I may need to subcontract.

They do seem to have it cornered, although you could equally say the same about the Loyalist throwbacks
